A nice view of the old Tunnel Buses that once ran back and forth. Interesting to note that they were owned by the tunnel company.
Have a great weekend everyone, see you back here Monday!

Again…looks 1940s to me… Anyone else?
I do not recall this model from the fifties and I have a lifelong interest in vehicles, no surprise coming from Windsor.
The buses in the photo are a 1930 Fageol model 40, the tunnel company got 30 of these buses when the tunnel opened in 1930. In 1947 these buses were replaced by 15 Twin Coach buses. Then in 1965 the Twin Coaches were replaced with 10 GMC TDH-4519. The tunnel company operated the bus service for the tunnel until February 1982 when Transit Windsor took over operating the bus service.
