If you’re looking for a fun, free, event to do this weekend, head on down to the Duff-Baby house on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00.
A great chance to visit Windsor’s oldest house.
Fun for the whole family!
I will most certainly be attending.
Thanks for posting, Andrew. I should also add that this is one of the few times throughout the year that the house is open for public tours.
I wish this were a weekend event. I’ll be in Windsor on Sunday but not Monday. This area is my old stomping grounds yet, sadly, I have never had the chance to check out the Duff-Baby house. It’s a beautiful old place.
Of couse Im working 12 hour midnight shifts this weekend.
Ah well. Thanks for passing it along!
Brian it is on Sunday.
Oops, sorry. For some reason I read it as Monday. Looks like me and the family will be taking Sandwich back to my parents from skating downtown then! 🙂
Thanks Aaron.
Why does it read “in peril”?
Brian, your seeing things. Andrew corrected you LOL!
Shawn, I would figure its because they’ll probably talk about its role in the war.
Oh, I get it lol. Whew, I thought it might have been on some sort of impossible demolish list!!! You know Windsor! If they can’t knock it down, they’ll burn it down.
If we lost this house due to corruption, I’d be forced to raise the Essex County Militia and sack city hall. And that’s God’s honest truth.
Sean M> According to the presentation there yesterday, the FIRST shots of the War of 1812 were cannon fire directed at(and striking) the Duff-Baby mansion.
