Just south of Ottawa Street is a small subdivision that sprung up at the end of WWI. Along Iroquois and Dacotah are a vast mix of interesting houses. The house above at 2072 Iroquois, isn’t all that different from when it was built, as the builder’s ad below shows.
There are some nicer small homes in that area and the area is very well kept.
The windows and siding wouldn’t have been my choice but it’s still a gem. I love the roofline. And such pride of ownership. A nice ‘good news’ story.
There are definitely some pretty and unique houses in this neighbourhood. Thanks for covering it.
my boss from work owns one of these house”s on Dakota
Just wondering if this “new” subdivision were to be built today – would we call it sprawl? Our forefathers saw and probably thought a growing city which was a good thing then.
