A new category has been added, “Unbuilt”. Some of the grand plans for this city that never got off the ground. The more things change, the more they stay the same I suppose…

EIGHT STORY HOTEL COSTING $350,000 TO BE ERECTED ON OUELLETTE AVENUE

Proposed plans show an eight story hotel to be erected on Ouellette Ave., containing about 180 rooms, each with bath. The plans were drawn for the Windsor Hotel Company by Mr. J. Will Wilson, Architect. With offices in Chatham and Detroit.
