Farewell Tunnel Bar-B-Q

A few shots from Thursday evening and the remains of the Tunnel Bar-B-Q. Some internal steel is still standing…

But otherwise she’s just a pile of rubble.

This little section at the far east end of the building is all that’s left standing.

While it’s sad to see a long time institution go, by the end it wasn’t what it used to be. The space will be replaced with a new building that will work hand and hand with the fully restored and repurposed Armouries. It should be a great project and a big help to the revitalization of the core of the city.

Have a good weekend everyone! See you back here Monday. Happy 4th of July weekend to all our American readers too.
