- Increasing business has forced Sterling Products, Windsor, to again enlarge its factory, thus repeating last year’s performance, when a large addition was made to the same plant. Workmen are shown above busy with the extension.
The factory building which once made Aspirin, is still standing on Elliott St W, just west of Crawford.
One of my favourite forgotten buildings.

Exactly Chris…now?
Intersting that designs allowed natural light into factories and now today we brick up those same windows…
Right across Elliott from the old Post cereals complex. A neat little industrial zone, surrounded by residential neighborhoods, slowly fading. Windsor looks more and more like Detroit every day, absent the burned out houses and the danger. But then, the Motor Cities were all of a piece and Canada was,and is,much more genteel(unless yer talkin’ about ice hockey).
