Back in December, there was this post about the Grand Tavern, and its impending demolition.
Demolition started late last week, and a parking lot to service Erie Street will soon take its place.

No surprise there. Now that downtown is gutted, I guess Windsor has to ok the destruction of Erie street surroundings.
Common Dave… You are forgetting that the sole purpose of a city is to move and store automobiles… how can we do that with all those pesky buildings in the way!?!
