This photo shot back in 2001 shows the house barely unchanged. A true Walkerville gem.

What’s the story behind this house? It is one of my favourites in the neighborhood!
Is there any info on the beautiful home that is built from large round stones? I think the address is 849 Kildaire. In the summer it has green growth all over it!
It used to be a WWI hospital for veterans for a time (849 Kildare). Very original home in great shape. As is the Foxley.

A true gem. “just to know” that this great structure and the people who helped the veterans here is a historical memory of the hospital personal,our great soldiers and the canadian citizens of canada of WWI and the freedom we all helped to sustain for our canada and the world.
