I had the chance the other day to get out on a boat and get some pictures of our fair city from the water. Here are a few recent shots of the casino expansion, and what our neighbours to the north get to see. The new tower sure is coming along.

Do you know if that’s the maximum height or if it’s gonna be any higher? I heard this was going to be tallest building in Windsor. I think Victoria Park Place is still taller if that’s it.
David, I think it’s stil got a bit more to do. Once it is done, it’s supposed to have a large spireo n the roof, I think that’s what will make it “taller” than VPP.
Gee, wasn’t the Canderal buliding supposed to be the tallest? Oh right, that was cut down more than half yet the price-tag fell oonly a few million dollars. I wonder who pocketed the rest?
Rumour has it that there is some concern that the building is already sinking beyond what was anticipated.
Who cares what the casino expansion is going to look like from the American side. Downtown Windsor doesn’t need more mega-projects like the Casino or Canderal. It needs thriving small businesses and a growing residential base to support small business. Our civic leaders are total dumbasses!
Beautiful shots here man. It’s not very common for most Windsorites to see our city from that side of the river.
I disagree that we don’t need the casino expansion. Windsor is dying and I think that the new building will breath some new life into the Windsor area. We need to offer more new and exciting things for tourists to do. Hopefully we will regain the business that we once had.
