As you might remember, our favourite vacant lot owner, the man who illegally demolished the Seagrave Building, also owns Champion Paper, as well as the neighbouring Clean Depot.

Now, his attitude, I must admit, pissed me off a little. One of the things I always meant to do was take a photo of that sign, and drop a letter to Home Depot about his possible copyright infringement. Sadly I never did, but I think someone else might have…
I noticed yesterday, driving past that the offending sign was missing from the street, and…
Someone pulled the logo off the front of the stucco too.
As Nelson would say… “HA-HA”.
A quick look at the website: http://thecleandepot.com shows their new logo, as well as an airbrushed version of the building.
I wish I could take the credit, but I can’t. So whoever made a call, or sent a letter, I can only say good job. Don’t let the pressure off this guy. He’s not a good citizen. In fact the vacant lot where the Seagrave stood is in violation of several zoning laws, with the outdoor storage he now has on the site. So more fines are coming…
