This building was located at 1226 Ouellette, just south of Gilles, and was for years the local Red Cross building. It was designed by local architects Sheppard & Masson, and was built in 1949, and it opened in May, 1950. For the life of me I don’t remember this place. I’m assuming that it was closed about the time the one on Plymouth & Grand Marais opened? Does anyone…
