Back in April of 2009, we had a two part look at the Canadian Bridge Company in Walkerville [Part I here, Part II here].The photo above ran in the June 28, 1911 issue of The American Architect. The caption reads: SCHOOL BUILDING, WALKERVILLE, ONT., CANADA Albert Kahn, Architect; Ernest Wilby, Associate The building does look very school-ish, so I could see how the editors could have mistaken it.
