So… over at Windsor Truck & Storage, located at Windsor & Shepherd, this giant crane thing was erected over the weekend. Later in the day there was actually a second one that went up as well…
I’m hoping is something good like, roofing, or brick re-pointing… and hopefully not something like recladding…
Anyone out there know anything about the work going on?

Some nice stucco would make that building look so much better!
noticed that they took down all the ivy too. i loved driving past this building on my communite to work. one of my favs.
stucco? I’ve found a reason to commit
does that clock on the tower work if it doesn’t now would be the perfect time to fix it ….stucco thats funny!!
If the clock tower was converted to a stucco circle it would look great, maybe a nice peach or off white colour?
If any more stucco goes up in this city, even a square inch, we might as well level everything and start from scratch.
That type of rigging is usually for re-pointing brick or a new sign. Roofing doesn’t need that type of scaffolding. Hopefully it isn’t going to be covered in stupidity.
stucco is the worst thing since asbestos
We just got the contract to stucco this whole building. Our biggest contract ever!
It’s going to look awesome!
i heard the new aquatics centre is going to have stucco walls heheh…just joking guys!!
That building would be great for loft apartments. Of course the city would have to change its’ tax policies that favour condominiums over loft apartments.
I’d rather have asbestos in my walls than stucco on them!
Pink Stucco.
Any relation to Detroit Storage, on E. Grand Blvd. and Beaubian? They both have towers, and it looks like Detroit Storage used to have a couple of clocks at the top.
