Another old postcard from the archives. This one judging from the car dates to the mid 1920’s. No idea where on the river this was taken, but an interesting view into the past of what once was.

Neat! I would put this even earlier by the looks of that front end, say 1910-12.In the teens at any rate. Since there’s no sign of the Uniroyal plant, I think we can rule out that island as Belle Isle. Unless it wasn’t built yet….but there WAS industry there at the time.
I’m thinking this is either Lasalle and that’s Fighting Island, or Amherstburg and the south end of Bob-lo.
