The Ambassador Hotel – 1928

A view of the Ambassador Hotel. I believe this one was situated at the south west corner of Riverside and Goyeau.

Hot and Cold running water, all for $1.50 and up. A buck and a half then is equivalent to just over $20 today. Hotel room prices have certainly risen faster than the rate of inflation.
