Hiram Walker Staff – 1893

From the Mason & Rice archives, comes this great shot of the entire staff (I’m assuming just the office staff) of Hiram Walker & Sons, gathered on the lawn behind the office on Riverside Drive in 1893.

There’s an impressive array of mustaches on display in this shot… I’m trying to determine if that’s Hiram himself on the far left. I think it might be…

Have a great weekend everyone, see you back here Monday.

  • Oh yes, without a doubt that is Hiram Walker on the left hand side. I wonder which gentlemen are his sons? (Edward, Franklin, James etc) Edward Chandler later built Willistead Manor and I am sure he is one of the men in this picture! I wonder which one .... ?
