I always like finding old painted signs for long gone businesses. This one is in the alley in the Lincoln & Tecumseh Road area. The plumbing place is long gone, but the sign remains. The sign says “Since 1923” and the phone number listed is a 254- exchange, so the business must have survived beyond the letter exchange days… Here’s his obituary from the Windsor Star…
