Ward Boundary Review

Tonight the City of Windsor is holding two Ward Boundary Review public consultations. I cannot stress how important these meetings are to attend.

The City is looking at how the Wards are split and how many councilors represent you at the municipal level.

The last change to the system was in 1978, and if the track record holds, this will affect you until 2040.

Make sure you attend one of the sessions listed above. If you can try and make the first session. The City didn’t intend to hold a meeting in the core of the city. The planned on one in Forest Glade and one in South Windsor.

Only after complaints started coming in, did they add the meeting at Windsor Water World.

Show them that you care about Windsor, and make sure your voice is heard about how this City will be run.

More details can be found here, on the City website.

  • I can't say enough about going to this meeting. Folks, the councillors expressed hope that the citizens would engage in this and come out in hordes. Andrew is right, let's show them we care about our city.
