LaSalle Ferry Boat – 1931

The ferry LaSalle was built in 1922 and was on the river crossing run until ferry service was discontinued in 1938. The LaSalle was later sold to the US Coast Guard and was eventually scrapped in Cleveland in 1951.

  • Do my eyes deceive me or is that a Blue Ensign flying at the bow of the ferry? Seldom seen but a lovely flag.
