Back out to Essex County today, does anyone have anything they can add about this place? It’s not Windsor, so there’s always the chance it’s still standing. If not, where was it ? Also how is it already November? 🙂

Its the north west corner of Murray and Dalhousie, when it was tore down? the Gordon house is sitting on the lot

this is at the foot of gore road on the river, now the duffys parking lot... in witch case the the building with the balconys at the back mid left would be the Lakeview hotel

I did not know that. Where was its original location considering it was built in the 1790s!?
This structure met its demise on November 26, 1976 when it was destroyed by fire. It was dismantled shortly thereafter. It originally opened to the public on May 1, 1877 as the "Park Hotel" as this same article goes on to describe on pg. 3 :
